Custom PC won't boot? (Fans on, Lights on all components, but no display on monitor)

I have just put together a custom PC, it was put together with no trouble at all but won't display anything. All the fans are running (CPU, Case, PSU) and HDD is making noises as if it was doing something. CD Drive will open and also make noises as if it is doing something, but I can't access BIOS on the monitor screen as only black is displayed.
The monitor is connected via VGA, and it seems to recognise a signal as whenever I disconnect the monitor's VGA it says 'No cable connected'. But when I then connect it to the PC it doesn't display that message anymore and just goes black. Any suggestions?

Components:
AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 Quad Core 3.6Ghz, ASUS M5A78L-M USB3 CPU & Motherboard Bundle

CiT Vantage Type-R Gaming Case

Komputerbay 8GB RAM

Alpine 750W PSU

3TB Western Digital HDD

Samsung SATA DVD Writer

Asus HD 7870 AMD Radeon DirectCU II Graphics Card

The Mobo has integrated graphics anyway, so I have disconnected the GPU completely until the system is sorted so it doesn't complicate things.
I did have the PCI-e connectors directly into the graphics card while it was connected though.

I have unplugged all unnecessary features, optical drive, even HDD and RAM to see if it would beep, but it didn't beep either.
I have tried charging something off the case USB slot and that works fine.
I think it may be something wrong with the onboard graphics.

I haven't had the chance to try my graphics I posted here because my psu doesn't have two 6-pin power cables, so I need to get an adapter to try that. That should tell me if the integrated graphics are fucked.

Other than that I am not sure- anyone have any suggestions?

No BIOS, No display, No Beeping, But power is functioning to all parts (Fans, lights, reassuring hum of activity)

I have just tried to breadboard the motherboard. I plugged in the PSU and it wasn't beeping at all. Lights come on, both PSU and CPU fans start to spin but nothing beeps. I am using a small speaker that came with the case which I don't think is faulty itself. I have looked on other forums for similar problems but no beeping I can only find in combination with no lights or fan functioning.
