Hello, I was wondering what Graphics cards would be compatible with an Intel i5 3350P and an ASUS motherboard H61M-E.

Also, the reason behind that is because that lately, whenever playing games I would often get these giant ''pixel glitches'' - clusters of pixels flickering in a checkerboard pattern at a different color now and then. I suspect it might be beause my Asus R7 260x can't handle the graphic level. But I'm also wondering if my monitor coulwd be faulty, I've had it for about 4 years or even less, but I guess anything can happen.

If there are "dead" or "hot" pixels on fixxed locations on your screen (including while in windows), that could be your monitor. If you are seeing "artifacts" of weird colors that shouldn't be there within games, that is typically from a overclocked/overheating/overvolted graphics card, or a graphics card beginning to die. The other possibility is you need to update your graphics card driver, and I would do that first to rule it out if you haven't already done so.

You might download speedfan to see what temps your GPU is running at, if it's hitting over 80° that may be causing problems. Is your case fairly well ventilated?

You might consider RMA on the graphics card if it's not too late - this type of problem is not a result of the graphics card being slow... Its either a driver issue or a hardware problem. If the card is too slow, you will notice stuttering/slow fps on games - not wierd colors or funky pixels.

To recommend a graphics card will need more information about the rest of your system, what games you play, and your approximate budget if you have one in mind.

I think it's pretty much confirmed that my monitor is at fault, due to the following:

I didnt have any background games/programs running, only Google Chrome and Steam. Plus, according to speedfan, all my cores and GPU were at around 20-30°C.

Hmmm that is strange. Do you have a tv or other monitor you could check?

You might run some antivirus also... Try superantispyware, malware bytes, and avast free. Run the programs one at a time, not together.
