Specs:
MB: ASUS M5A 78L-M LX PLUS

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4200 Quad-Core Pro

gpu: GeForce GTX 660

4G of ram

I just bought the GTX 660, and finished installing the drivers, but i noticed my computer is now slower than before. I can run games on higher quality but it takes longer to load webpages, start programs, and load the games themselves (I tested this on lowest quality too). Games I play: Total War:Rome 2 and Starcraft 2. Any ideas?

RaidMax Thunder V2 535W, which I bought with the GTX 660 to power it. I didnt know you could run different drivers (kinda obvious now that i think about it...), hyow would you go around doing this?

What driver version do you have installed on your system?
Your card have more than one driver version, Try to install the latest driver for your card from nVidia site and uninstall the driver you have and install the new driver.
I have never heard of that brand before but it seems that your psu is +80 bronze certified so I guess it must be of a decent quality.

My system has GeForce Experience, which automatically checks for NVIDIA driver updates. As i just installed the driver this morning, it says its up to date. Currently I have GeForce 3322.21 Driver installed. Ill try to reinstall it and see how that goes.

As for RaidMax, people on reddit were sayings its a crap quality but it seems to work fine for me. I dunno.

There are better brands: XFX, Crosair, Seasonic just to name a few. Did you have the GeForce experience before your computer start having this problem?
Use the task manager to see if there is a process that is using up too much resources.

I did use GeForce Experience, its optimization worked really well for my previous GPU, although its saying i my computer dosent meet the requirements for high graphics yet im playing on high right now with no problems. As for the task master, it says my disk is 100%, but im unclear what that means. As for processes, an NVIDIA program called NVIDIA Network Services is at ~60 MB/s while the the second most process is using 0.6 MB/s, maybe thats the problem?
