I'm buying a prebuilt computer and I have been given these two options but I'm not sure which I should go for. The 970A is £37 cheaper so I am hoping to use this one. The specs for the PC I'm buying are as follows

fx-8320 black edition

8 gig DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB

Will the cheaper board be suitable for This W8 setup? I don't plan on over-clocking.

Thank you very much!

Either will work for the build what it comes down too is the features you want. The Chipsets will dictate what features the motherboards have to offer like the number of SATA 3 connections, the number of USB 3.0 ports, the slot configurations. If the cheaper model does everything you want then go for it. If the other model has some feature you are going to want to use in the near future get it.

So it all depends on what expectations you have for your computer now and the future. Don't settle and be disappointed every time you look at your computer. After awhile it will represent what could have been and eventually you won't want to use it. I've said over and over when you go to hit the on button for your machine you should have a smile on your face.

Why buy a Black Edition cpu if you don't plan on overclocking?
The cheaper 970 mobo has 4+1 power phase design.= would be fine if you don't plan on OCing.
The 990X has a more robust 8+2 power phase design = perfect for full potential of cpu.
