I currently have a zoostorm pc and within the next week will be upgrading the psu to a Corsair cx430 and graphics card to a Sapphire hd 7770. My cpu is a sandy bridge i5, I've set it's max power state to 90%tdp (85.5W)

80mm Case fan worth getting?

My problem is that at the moment the case doesn't have any fans installed, and only has room for a single 80mm fan at the back. Since my (stock intel) cpu cooler is pushing air out towards a small mesh in the side of the case, I thought it'd be best to have the fan as an intake, but I'm not too sure, since I thought the psu might just exhaust any air brought in almost straight away.
Would it be worthwhile installing an 80mm case fan to aid with cooling, and if so, should I have it as an intake or exhaust fan?

New cpu cooler or stock?

Whilst I'm here, I may as well ask a second question instead of starting another thread. I'm also planning on getting a new cpu cooler, specifically the arctic cooling alpine 11 pro. Do you think it is worth getting or should I just stick with the stock cooler?

The rear 80mm will probably work better as exhaust, but it's not that hard to experiment yourself to find out which orientation gives you better temps. Don't bother with that Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 pro, I think it'll be slightly weaker than the stock fan, since it's rated for 90 watts cooling capacity and a sandy bridge i5 is 95 watts tdp unless you have one with an S or T suffix (e.g. i5-2500S, i5-2500T).
