My old Win7 computer crashed. So when I got my Win8 new comp I couldn't do an Easy Transfer to easily move info over. My bright idea was to set up the old HD as an external drive connected just through a USB port and move stuff over. Not just my files, but like everything.
It didn't occur to me that programs and drivers or whatever might be in the mix. so now I think I have win7 stuff where its not supposed to be bogging my comp way down. Im no tech. (Obviously)
Can anyone tell me what I can do? Or what problems I should be looking for?
Also my AppData folder is for some reason no longer hidden and that too I think is making it slow.
