I'm trying to install windows 7 on a my newly built computer and it won't install, about 9 percent in it will stop and give me the 0x80070570 error message I know what it means but don't know how to fix it

Try reseating the RAM or just check it to make sure it is seated properly. If the memory is installed properly then try running memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/) to make sure you don't have a faulty memory stick. It could be you have a defective install disc or there is a problem with the DVD drive (assuming you are installing from a disc).

Another suggestion I read is to cancel the install which should return you to the "Install Now" screen and then try installing it again. Do this without rebooting the computer.
