Popping noise when CP starts up?

Hello Everyone,

Thank you very much in advance of any assistance.

I have a new home built PC. When it starts up from sleep, start up, etc., it makes two or three popping noises, they are coming through the speakers, I turned them all off and couldn't hear anything.

It's not to annoying but want to make sure that it isn't hurting any of the components.

Those noises happen when Your sound card initializes itself. They are not a problem.

Because the are annoying, do check that every connector is snug, and that no lose connectors are hanging around anywhere. I get those pops if I have a 3.5mm splitter in my setup, and one (male) end it tapping the case occasionally.
