Max is $500 I know it's not much but my old ones died so that's all I can do right now. No preference on brand or anything. I have a full tower case and I'm typically using it for gaming. Just thought it would be good to have some experts throw some ideas at me. If you want any other info just ask. Just looking for motherboards and CPU and obviously make them compatible. :)

Are you saying you currently have an AMD FX-8320 and MSI 990FXA-GD80 and they BOTH died? Are you sure they both went bad?

Not 100% sure they are both bad but either both or 1 of them. I get the FF code and I don't get any display on my monitor on boot up and every fan runs fine. Also I've done the thing where you unplug things 1 by 1 (things: vid card, hdd, cddrive) and still doesn't do anything.

What does your motherboard manual say about the FF code?

Nothing but I was told the FF code means fault found and it's when a CPU is damages, lack of power, etc. but a chip on the motherboard near the 24 pin actually caught on fire when trying to fix it so idk.

That could mean only your mobo fried or it could be your PSU died and took out the motherboard and possibly other parts.

Do yourself a favor and buy a cheapo PSU testing device when you get your new parts. Sounds suspiciously like a PSU failure, which damaged your motherboard. I would be surprised if the CPU is also damaged, but you never know.
