Hi there! I have a Sony Vaio laptop (VPCEB290X) that hasn't read discs for a while. It hasn't been a problem but now I have something on disc that I'd like to open.
I can hear the drive spinning a couple times before giving up. There's even a little cd that appears on my cursor but nothing happens.
I ran the Microsoft diagnostic tool and it came up with an error and no solution. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drive. I have checked for upper/lower filters to delete and found none.
Any other ideas?
