Hello folks, I've had a ati radeon had 5670 for 2 years now, and this week has been horrible. My graphics card started crashing my computer when playing games and watching youtube, it flashes my screen gray for 1-10 seconds and then it goes off. My cursor becomes a bit depixalated and i fear that it will damage my cpu aswell as other stuff in my computer.( I don't know much about computers.) So what i'm asking you guys is it my graphics card that is causing this? Today I played path of exile for 30 minutes and it flashed and i just turned off my computer as soon as i could It scared me to death. So i opened my computer and i cleaned it after 2 years. ( I know horrible right? ) But it still crashed, it didn't give me bsods or anything it just restarts my computer. I get 56-54 Celsius temperature using the AMD program and the fan at 28%. Please help.

Buy a new graphics card. I would recommend you buy the GTX650Ti as it is MUCH better than the 650, and it costs about $20 more. Good luck!

Hey mate I'm in the same boat as you, my 5870 is doing shit like that and the only thing that has sort of helped (only for a week) is rolling back the drivers to your first driver for your gpu and then updating catalyst. My pc worked fine for a week but it started shitting itself 4 days ago.

Yeah, I'm probably just going to buy a new graphics card or something maybe even a new power supply thought I have a 700 watt which im debating on getting a 800 watt.

Unless you think your power supply is buggered don't bother 700 watts should be more than enough, save some more money and get a 290

Well, should I just buy a complete new graphics card? I was thinking of getting the gtx 650, I'm on a tight budget.
