AMD and Nvidia release new drivers nearly every month so it usually does not hurt to check for updates every now and then.
Depending on how much effort the system builder put into installing the OS, you might be running the stock driver from Windows Updates or whatever drivers were included on the motherboard/graphics/etc. CD/DVD.
