I recently build a Haswell system. It ran fine, But the graphics card is wearing out. (By that I mean it can handle the graphics, but a few lag spikes. Tuning down the settings doesn't help) I plan on getting the R7 260X. It seems promising. I wonder how much I can Benefit from the TruAudio technology. Also are there better cards from Nvidia at this price range?

Yes, it is reportedly $10-20 Cheaper than the R7 260X, but AMD will obviously cut the price of the 260X to compete with the stronger 750 Ti

At this price range, the R7 260X is king. It kills the 650 Ti and is a centimeter away from the 650 Ti Boost. However, the GTX 750 Ti is coming out, and benchmarks show that it is around 5-6 FPS Slower than the GTX 660, which means that when it comes out on the 18th, it'll outpace the 260X, which is in the same price range.

TrueAudio isn't that necessary IMO, but it is a nice little technology that can immerse you into the experience. You will be running games at 30 FPS in low settings with an R7 260X when TrueAudio becomes widespread. You should really get a 7850 before its too late. If you are willing to shoot out more cash, you could get a R9 270/270X/7870 or a GTX 660.
