ASRock Motherboard Dual Monitor Issue

I have an ASRock A75 Extreme6 motherboard and I want to use the dual monitor function. This board has one DVI, HDMI and D-Sub port. No matter what configuration option I try, HDMI + DVI or DVI + D-Sub, I am unable to get a display on both monitors. It only allows one at a time. I would really like to be able to use this function, since it is one of the primary purposes I purchased this board.

Specs:
ASRock A75 Extreme6
AMD A8-3870k APU
2 x 4GB Corsair Divergence DDR3 @ 1866 MHz

Has anyone else has a similar issue? Any help would be very much appreciated!

Jon

are both monitors the same screen resolution? That could be your problem there.

There are not the same resolution... I wanted to try the setup before i purchased another monitor so I knew that it worked.. I will try to hook my TV via HDMI since that is the same res as my monitor. Will report back soon.

integrated graphics on the motherboard and some graphics cards have issues trying to power two different screen resolutions. But it will be great having two of the same screens.
