I have been beyond furious with the problems I've been having with a brand new 2 thousand dollar system. GTX 780 ti SC w/ ACX, i7 4770k, Asus maximus 6 hero, 16 gigs g skill ram, and every single one of my games manages to find a way to perform poorly or not work at all. I'm horrified of the thought that my graphics card is faulty, because I bought that part first, and the RMA period on newegg is passed. It will also be difficult for me to collect the money to buy a new one if thats what im going to have to resort to. Some of the problems Ive been having include:
DayZ - I used to be having avg 60 fps at LEAST in most areas. Now its around 30 - 40, and my game will randomly stutter, have horrible graphical glitches I can't even explain, and then blue screen and/ or completely crash my entire computer.
Battlefield 4 - Getting mouse stutter problem and CPU spiking problem that I havent found a solution to. I have spent hours on forums trying to find someone with a similar problem to no avail.
War Thunder - Getting average 60 fps in game. Heard on forums that some people get extremely higher avg in game with the same specs, or even lower specs.
Every Crysis Game - Horrible stuttering and mouse moves along a grid, games are 100% fucked. Unplayable. Don't know why.
FC3: Blood Dragon - game wont play at higher than 24 fps on any settings. Mouse jumps all over the place. Unplayable.
Loadout - Getting maximum 20 fps in any part of the game. No one on any forums getting the same problem.
PayDay 2 - Random glitches similar to the DayZ ones. Horrible graphic glitches, artifacting, freezes every half a second, then blue screens and/ or computer crashes entirely.
Just Cause 2 - Every time my fps goes over 60 the game looks like its playing at 30 with the massive amounts of stutter I'm having.
Garry's Mod - Getting less than 60 fps in game ever. It happens FREQUENTLY.
LOTS OF GAMES - Directx11 errors. Happens either as soon as i start the game or 10 minutes in. Error pops up, game crashes, comp freezes.
As well as all of this, sometimes when i play anything, my gpu clock stays at half power at 500~ mhz. Doesnt move no matter what game i play, or if in windowed mode or not. I have to restart my computer for the clock to start performing at normal levels again.
The only games that work correctly are sniper elite v2, chivalry, mirror edge, CS:GO and skyrim. Even those occasionally crash too, after artifacting and glitching.
Im having a mix of extreme worry/ disappointment/ fucking furious. This is my first build and something went wrong (at least i think, so far). I dont know what to do now that this RMA period is over. I'm going to check wire connections after i post this thread. What the hell is going on. Someone please help me. ;_;
