PC shut down during windows 7 install and won't turn back on Help please

Sorry I wasn't specific.
Green light on motherboard is on when I turn on the corsair cx600 unit. I press the power button and nothing happens. No fans spin nothing on the screen and no POST beep, but it was fine when I first turned it on.

If something burnt out, you should be able to smell it. Check around the power supply and motherboard.
Check all of your connections, particularly the power switch connection to the motherboard and the ATX 24 pin power.

If there is a hardware issue, it is most likely the motherboard.
Second guess would be the power supply.
If a shop assembled this PC, see if they will do some diagnostics for you.

I put it together and I've tried everything, luckily I know someone who might know what is wrong I'll tell you if he figures it out. Thank you for helping me though.

At the random end of the scale if your buddy cant see anything wrong .. at one time during a build I did have a mobo that refused to start. Upon checking I discovered that somehow as I inserted a USB cable into the back of my rig a pin inside the connector on the mobo had bent and was touching the opposite side of the connector. This was causing a short and the machine refused to turn on. With everything off I bent the rogue pin back and and voila, it booted !
