Hi all,
I'm building my first PC and I've just assembled it a minute ago. However when I plug it into the wall and try to power on, the PC begin to power on (the fan begin to spin) but the suddenly a flash appeared from the back of the case (power supply region) along with a electricity noise. Then the PC was off and I cannot get the PC back on again.
Here are the component I use: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2KySs
- I used the default power supply that came with the case (450W)
- I snap the switch on the power supply to 230V instead of 115V when I did the first boot
So what happened? Was I supposed to leave the switch at 115V? Did my power supply not have enough Wattage? How likely that the components (CPU, GPU) are damaged?
Thank you!
