Around 6 months back I purchased 2x 4GB RAMs (Both Identical, Maker-Strontium/DDR3-1333-10600). For 4 months they worked together perfectly for my Laptop (Dell Inspiron 14R N4010). After that my laptop started to freeze suddenly twice/thrice a day, sudden blackout sometimes. And after another month, one day the laptop didn't start at all. I noticed that if I put 1 RAM in any of the slots, none of the above problems happening. The laptop works flawlessly. I have tested both RAMs with memory diagnostic programs, both passed successfully.

Now, sometimes when I put both RAMs in dual slots, it works for 4/5 days and then again those problems.

So, Can someone please explain to me what is the problem?

I do not think it is a problem with the sticks if used induvadualy. I believe that something happended to one causing it to no longer play nice with the other one but work fine by itsself. However we cannot validate that until you put the old memory back in and see if the problem goes away. Before we can say for sure that it is a problem with your matched memory pair we have to rule out a motherboard (memory controller or SODIMM slot) issue and the only way to to that is to put your old memory back in and see if the problem goes away. if the problem goes away then the problem is likley your RAM. if the problem does not go away then the problem is with your motherboard. sence the problem only occures with dual channel you need to...
That computer has had many BIOS updates. Download and install the newest BIOS (ensure you use only one stick of memory in the system when you do it). If that does not resolve the problem put the old ram back in (are there two of them?) and see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away the new memory is the problem and something has happened to one of the sticks causing it to not work well with the other stick.

although I am not famuliar with that brand most memory has a lifetime warrenty so RMA the memory with the manufacturer.

First of all, thanks for your reply.
According to dell website latest driver is A13, release date 06-04-2011, and the same is installed on my computer.
Is there any latest version than that? if yes, where can i find it?

Actually if I use those memory sticks once at a time, there is problem at all. I've tried that with every combination of slots and RAMs.
you think memory sticks are faulty? They passed every test that I ran.
