Asus Won't go

The Asus A8V-MX I thought had a Bios problem took out the Cmos battery for 2 days now it won't start nothing happens changed the PSU but still the same. No power going to the board.
Any clues please. Help appreciated and noted.

Try starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed by shorting the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the power switch (for ruling out a power button issue). Make sure that both 24 and 4 pin power cables are properly connected. Try also replacing the CMOS battery with a new one.
