When I run a game or do anything too taxing on my GPU (NVIDIA GTX 560), my computer will turn off without any error or warning or blue screen, it just shuts down.

I have tried changing out the GPU, and while it works fine with an older card (NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT), the problem still happened when I tried changing it to a NVIDIA GTX 270.

The main difference between those cards is that the 8600 GT does not use PCI-E cables/doesn't plug into the PSU at all, which makes me think it is a problem with my PSU. The thing is though, that my original GPU (GTX 560) didn't work in another computer either, so it could be a problem with both.

I've been using this computer for a fair while without any problems, this started happening after I upgraded my MOBO and CPU.

My system:
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
- Gigabyte B85M-D3H
- Intel i7-4770
- 2x 4GB DDR3 RAM
- 128GB Crucial M4 2.5" SSD/1TB Samsung HDD
- 650W "Super Flower" PSU

Your power supply is 'ABAG OfFSHEet'. Thats tech speak for not very good.
Get an XFX 550 WATT PRO CORE OR A CX600 OR Similar psu.
The 8600 gt is a WIMP and the 270 and 560 are 'beasts' .
Your in the big boys playground now, you need a proper power supply.
Its a shame if the 560 is no good, but your psu deffo isnt.

Yeah, I got the PSU years ago when I didn't really know anything about computers. Luckily it's not too expensive to get a new one. Thought that would probably be the case, thanks.
