Is this a stable overclock for a 7950?

A screen shot of my CCC is here with the respective overclock. Could you please answer for me:

Is this overclock stable?

How long this overclock could be sustained for if i'm gaming daily (weeks, months, years)?

Is this is a bad overclock? If so, can you suggest an improved one?

Thanks in advance!

No we can't answer that, this is why we have stress testing software like unigine heaven. There is no such thing as a "bad overclock". Go ahead and download a software like unigine heaven or furmark, run it and see if your drivers crash or if you see artifacts.

Also i'd advice against using catalyst control center for overclocking, I'd recommend trying to use msi afterburner, but of course, us whatever works the best for you.
So stress your GPU, if nothing seems wrong and your fps is as it should be, you can keep increasing the core clock/memory clock.

To answer your question
You will need to test the stablity of your overclock and to do so you need to have 3 programs:-
1.An overclocking program like CCC or Msi afterburner
2.GPU-Z
3.Unigine heaven

Basically you first return the settings to stock or the factory oc as per say
Then you increase the memory clock by 10.
Then you run unigine for 5-10 mins and check your temperature,as long as its under 80C it is perfectly fine.
Rinse and repeat until you reach the 80C or you start seeing artifacts
Basically artifacts are Dazling lines on your screen that appears like blue/red/any colour dot that is just random and is not part of the program.Might be a tear in the screen etc,you get my point.
In that case you have two option
Lower the clock to the latest stable
or
Increase your voltage that your card can handle
For now I would advise you to stick with not increasing any voltage as these cards can OC alot without increament of voltage
And if you seem to have reached the 80*C limit you can either back off and enjoy the oc or increase your fan speed to get more overclock
Feel free to balance the power between memory clock and base clock. As long as it stays under 80C doesn't have any artifacts it will be alright but as you know, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Any overclocking even the slightest 5mhz overclock will result in an degradation of your graphic card but as long as you keep within the limits I just posted you will be fine. After your final OC run unigine on max settings for 1 hour and check your temperature and make sure it is under 80C.
Oh and Unigine heaven has a nice feature which tells you the temperature of your graphic card so that will result in not needing to download a temperature reading software :).But just to be safe you could always download one of the softwares like hwmonitor and use it to make sure the temperature displayed by unigine heaven is corresponding to the temperature you are seeing during the benchmark.
