I really want to boost my computer with an SSD, however, I don't know which SSD I should buy. I don't want to buy that SSD that is only a fraction better than the others but somehow manages to sell enormously more than the others (there is always one of those in technology). I want to buy a cheap SSD, however, I don't want to buy a slow SSD. What SSD is best value for money. I would only need about 250 gb. I currently have used 707.13 gb of my 750 gb hard drive (so I have used about 50 gb, you can help me decide how much storage I need). Also, what is the fastest SSD? That last question is just out of curiosity. Help would be much appreciated.

The SSD I want is not cheap, but not overpriced either.

The Samsung Evo has the best price/performance. Sounds like you'll need to do some pruning to fit what you have into a 250 GB though. http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/internal-hard-drive/detai...

You said that you have 707 GB on your current hdd. I was assuming that you'd be transferring some of that to the new SSD.

OK. I misunderstood. If you currently only have 50 GB of data that should be a piece of cake to transfer over to a 250 GB drive.
