Some of your short hand has me a little confused, can you explain a little better? Not being rude just not sure 100% what you meant by some of your shorthand. I also never used win 8, always been a win7 user so I dunno oh and whats wrong with the case? that has nothing to do with the machine itself, I just wanted a tight looking outer case for it. Why is my overclock a bad thing? Should I not over clock it? Does over clocking hurt the processor or something?

Well I have a nice gaming system, I am just moving the existing one into the living room on an 85inch LCD I have there, I am simply buying a new system and I want it to be really nice. I updated my list for what I am buying, from suggestions in another thread. Looking for any and all feedback. What I will have in the living room will play games as well, but I watch movies on it as well. I am just buying another high end PC and am asking for thoughts and things to adjust on it is all.

What am I going to buy? I have it listed (the specs) in the original post.

this? Intel® Core™ i7-4770 3.40 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150
the price really is not much difference between the two so I might as well stay with the bigger one.

Let me ask you this then .... with my current setup, do I even need to worry about Overclocking this machine? It is already a beast as it is. Plus over clocking only jacks the price up even more and I am pretty capped on what I want to spend on the machine as it is. Over clocking just seems like maybe a little overkill with this machine, ya think?

Currently the one I have is - Extreme OC (Extreme Overclock 20% or more)

Good, then I will pull that off and drop my price a little. Anything else with the last build I posted you think needs adjusting? Also since I am now not over clocking, I wonder if dropping down in scale to the next one will hurt me much or should I just stay where I am at? Its a $34 drop in price, not sure this matters.

Possible Downgrade: Intel® Core™ i7-4770 3.40 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150

Let me ask you something. Now I had went with 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB GDDR5 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card because I wanted to have what I needed so to not have to upgrade in the near future. Will going just one of these videos cards keep me in the game for years to come ya think? I only want to build this so I am good for a long time.

Trying to figure out, why the 780 is better than the 770 when the 770 is a 4GB Invidia where as the 780 is a 3GB Invidia. What am I missing?

************************************************
ok, here is the last update, anything mucked up with my setup? I went and only added the single 780 Invidia 3GB (like everyone told me) ..... before I order I want to make sure this is what I want from how I explained before up there.

I wouldn't get the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard. I had one and it was terrible, I couldn't even get into the bios, although that might have been a defect with the one I got.

Have not seen the 6GB one, but you say the 780 3GB is a nice card and will run everything for a long while? I am close to purchasing the above list, maybe tomorrow night, so last minute changes can be made if anyione sees anything. Curious on the motherboard if thats overkill or not.

Motherboard is alright just get a 2 way SLI motherboard, don't get 3/4 way because thats overkill. The 780 Ti will last you long as some games doesn't utilize SLI and some games support it but have problems. And if you think the 780 Ti is holding you, you can grab another one. A single 780 Ti could run any games on Ultra on 1080p and 1440p. And the 6GB of 780 Ti might actually be the Titan Black Edition but it cost 999$ and will be releasing at February 18.

Just to clarify, there's a gtx 780 and a gtx 780 Ti, huge difference. Unless you plan on gaming on multiple monitors or a UHD display, the extra 3gb of vram for is not worth it at any price. 2x gtx 770's on a 850W is not overpowered. IMO, as stated before, the gtx 780 ti would be a better choice and you could easily run the system on a 550-600W psu. Asus, Gigabyte, and Asrock are solid motherboard choices
