Hi guys, i've complete my very first build. I would like to check if theres any compatibility issue or anything that ive missed. I will be using the rig for games such as BF4, WOW, other FPS and also for creative softwares such as photoshop.

Intel i7 - 4770 3.4 GHz Quad Core Processor

Asus Gryphon Z87 Micro ATX

Cooler Master HYPER 212X CPU COOLER

ASUS GTX760 DDR5 OC 2GB

Corsair Vengence Pro 8 GB (2 x 4) DDR3 - 1600

Seasonic M12ii Modular 620

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB SATA3

ASUS 24X DVD RW

I have no idea which case I should use. I will prefer a smaller one, at least mid tower and below 100.

Thanks guys. I welcome all suggestions

Solution
Get the 4670k it can be overclocked. The difference is that i5's do not have hyperthreading. This is only used by video encoding and rendering, and 3d modeling applications effectively and games don't really benefit from it.
The cooler and z87 board are pointless because you cannot overclock that CPU.

Everything else looks fine. Expect high not ultra settings in most games at 1080p.

Unless yo are doing professional level video or photo editing, get an i5 and spend the saved money on a gtx770.

I chose Z87 over H87 because i want the flexibility of SLI. If i do not overclock the CPU, i dont need a cooler?

For the i7, I chose it as I thought it will help with my games graphic and it's better performance will last longer. Am i mistaken?

Pardon my elementary qns

Hmm, so im guessing my CPU is an overkill and i can consider getting i5 4670 and spend on a better GPU.

In layman terms, whats the main diff btw 4670 and 4770 other than the flexibility to overclock? Also, why not 4670k?

Cheers!
