Hi guys - building a desktop for my garage project (MSI H81M-P33 V2, 8GB crucial ballistix, Core i5 4670K, in a cheap $30 Rosewill case). I am using this case: Rosewill FBM-01 . The thing is nice for $30 which is perfect for a garage where it might get dusty/dirty, but the only downside is that it's ever so slightly narrower than standard cases I've used. I bought a Coolermaster 212 Evo, brought it home, placed it on my CPU just resting on it and it stuck out of the side by about 1/4". I've measured from the CPU surface up and I have 5 7/8", so I want to stick to around 5 3/4" to avoid issue... that converts to 146-147mm.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good HSF that will fit an mATX board (H81) but also shorter than 150mm? Thanks all.
