Looks pretty good. Personally if your in that price range, I would do only two changes for the following reasons:

Doesn't matter how much you OC a i5 it still has a set number of Hyperthreaded Cores, so in comparison to a i7 which is about same prices (as noted in the Lenovo link) but the extra Core/Threads come in hand like with BF4 64Man Map, because BF4 / AC4 / 2013 games are tending to be CPU Hogs, and only 'relieved' with more cores are around.

I also wanted my IM to show I was gaming, streaming my OWN music to play in the background of BF4, still wanted my Steam to be up, running AV to keep any hackers from trying something while playing, running multiple webpages to pick up any tips and tricks on the new weapon I just...
Okay first problem, We all can't tell you what WILL be available and at what price in "Aug 2014". You should post in the summertime because that is the same time period for 'Back to School sales' which can quite alter the pricing schemes.
That said for example you could get Haswell i7 for only $600 (http://slickdeals.net/f/6657778-lenovo-h530-desktop-pc-core-i7-4770-3-4ghz-haswell-8gb-ddr3-1tb-hdd-wifi-n-dvdrw-usb-3-hdmi-win-8-599-90-free-shipping-staples) add a PSU (600w $90) then spend on a Nvidia 7xx or AMD Rx GPU ($149-$499) and you would be in budget. But again prices will change radically before your date (sales, etc.).

On this tangent, I multitask alot (as you can see) and found myself maxing my 8GB all the time, even outside of Bf4, so I would suggest, if your similiar, to bump to 16GB.
