You can build a great gaming PC using your budget.

Here are the specs I would go with:

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ (~122 Pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/93469/FD8350FRHKBOX/CP...

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 (~79 Pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/120047/11210-00-20G/Gr...

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2 AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard (IT MUST BE AM3+ COMPATIBLE!) (~50 Pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/76238/GA-78LMT-S2P/Mot...

Power Supply: CORSAIR HX series HX650 650W (Or any good 550W or 650W PSU brand) (~80 pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/88540/CP-9020030-UK/Po...

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (2 sticks for ~60 pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/46149/CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9...

Storage: Western Digital SATA 500 GB (If you got more money you can get an expensive Corsair SSD) (~60 pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/45601/WD5000AAKX/Hard-...

Accessories: (Can't help you with those) You would need a Case, Mouse, Keyboard, Wireless/Wired Network Adapter, speakers (Total: ~60-80 pounds)

DVD/CD ROM: SAMSUNG Black 18X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA DVD-ROM Drive (~20 Pounds) (Couldnt find DVD Roms on that website)

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler + Arctic Silver Thermal Paste (Total ~20 Pounds) http://www.cclonline.com/product/76740/RR-212E-16PK-R1/... + http://www.cclonline.com/product/5679/AS5/Thermal-Compo...

I think the total of those would be: +-£630 (Might be more expensive than that though, but I don't think it would exceed 650-670 pounds)

-If they build you the PC then there is no need for a Thermal Paste (-8 Pounds)
-You can use the Stock AMD FX cooler instead of an external one (-25 Pounds)

I didn't like that site, its not so user-friendly :S

Best,

This is just to show you that you can get a lot better quality going this way. Building yourself is really simple, and there are countless tutorial videos you could follow along with on YouTube as well :)

Neither. The ebay machine has a dead cheap motherboard that cannot overclock the processor and is not capable of future expansion and the ccl pc has a crap cpu for the price bracket. And a load of un specified cheap parts. They are trap builds, designed to take money off people who dont know.

You have to tell your mate the great big graphics card in the other builds is at the sacrifice of rubbish other components. They wont last long. Get the yoyotech one and buy a new graphics card at christmas.

No, in a few years you might want to update the graphics card/CPU but otherwise you're all set!

I am glad that was understood. Cowboy outfit builds usually
'SNUFF IT' around the 30 months mark, landing you with a very urgent and expensive rebuild bill.
