I'm looking into downgrading the 4770k to a 4670k on the sole purpose I have read its mainly used for video editing. Now I do plan on doing this, but as a hobby as well as video streaming. The 4670k is 100$ cheaper and I can oc it to 4.5-4.7ghz so it seems like a good bet. I need some advice if this trade off is worth it.
The Kraken was suggested to me and I would like more advice on this since I hear the h100i is a hot item and I recently read about the 220. My main concern is cooling power as the kraken spec wise is rated higher airflow and rpm. Noise is something I look for but I can change the fans out to improve this, no?

The motherboard I really like but if I change the cpu out I'm willing to upgrade to around $180 price.

The ram I traded out for g.skill sniper series at a 2133 with a 10-12-12-34 timing for $74. If anyone has improvements let me know.

Im content with both had and sad unless someone has to offer something different.

My gpu I'm still in a toss up but I believe I narrowed it down to the oc or ghz edition. Someone mentioned to me the msi lighting variant because of the bios not limiting the voltage. My biggest concern for the gpu is temp, oc power, than noise. The ghz was highly recommended for me since it also comes with a back plate

The case I want to change and I was thinking about an antecedents 900 atx mid case $99 for this as well should I buy more fans to put in it and will my parts fit. Can someone explain what makes a good case to.

The monitor has been bought at $244

Last can anyone offer a mechanical keyboard for $100-150 I would like some features with it since I do play mmos, but it isnt necessary since I'm not heavily into it. I mainly play a lot of fps, lol , and skyrim type games.

When posting advice please give specific reasons why you prefer one over the other. Everyone has had bad experiences with every brand and part. Unless it is rampant I prefer to see responses with details about specs of items. If you just like the brand and have good experiences. That doesnt really tell me why the hardware performs well. It just describes your broad general opinion and that holds little value, sorry.

Solution
Oh it's a 280mm rad...
I wouldn't really go for the Kraken then because there's not that many good 140mm fans. There are better 120mm fans made for static pressure that will make the 240mm rad outperform the 280mm.
Also, a 280mm rad may be a really, really tight fit for the Define R4. You'll probably need to do a bit of a mod to make it fit.

Neither of your posts responds how I asked. I specifically stated I want details on different changes. I don't need copy paste builds. I want to know specifically why parts were chose so I can understand. Its cheaper isnt a response I'm looking for

The reason for parts that i chose in my biuld

i5 is a really nice cpu if you dont know already. Its almost as good as the 4670k.
The motherboard is really solid and is amazing for overclocking
The cpu cooler has some of the best temps for cpu coolers
Samsung makes some of the fastest ssd right now in the market.
The caviar black is really nice is fast and in a recent survey it showed that western digital had the least failure drives compared to seagate.
The 780ti is the best gpu in my opinion and is really cool because of the direct cuII tech of asus. If you dont want to worry about fan noise, you can get the nvidia version of the 780ti from asus or evga, etc. They are all the same pretty much
The c70 is a really tough nice looking case and has many options for cooling and looks really nice
The cooler master fan is there so you can add some more cooling and so you can have a better looking red/black color scheme.
XFX makes some of the best quality psu's in the market right now behind seasonic.
Standard dvd drive
The keyboard is really nice, has nice led lights, really comfy, friend has it, and its mechanical which you wanted

@mo You realize you typed the i5 is as good as the 4670k which is the i5 and saying the motherboard is amazing and is good at over clocking explains to me nothing about why its good at over clocking. Im not looking for generic explanations. I want to learn something in the process. I've done a lot of research and as I continue I'm hoping to learn more here at the same time. Kinda multi task g the research while I discusses what I read about my rig and what I'm lookout ngle for here

@Andrei saying the video card is epic does absolutely nothing to explain to me why. What does the temps run for during load with your cooling system? What kind of ghz have you been able to oc with a d at what voltage? HHow is the ambient temp in your case? Again your rig is kinda useless to me. I won't be running amd. I w be using Intel.

My bad, I meant the 4770k. The 4770k is for more video editing, animation, or high end gaming builds. For this build, i5 is fine. Look at other builds, other 2000 dollar builds have an i5 4670k and a 780ti. Now towards the motherboard, the motherboard is amazing. Reasons, its asus, it has tons of great features which if you want to take the time out of your day you can read here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989&clickid=wRwSZDyJdXOuQh6XCDz023FZUkTyeoXV2wj41I0&iradid=97618&ircid=2106&irpid=79301&nm_mc=AFC-IR&cm_mmc=AFC-IR-_-na-_-na-_-na Its a asus republic of gamers motherboard which is what more high end builds have. Also, only z87 motherboards can overclock cpu. Plus the cpu must have a k at the end. Its bios menu is really easy to use, highly rated and its really good for its money. If you want more explanation, just go to a motherboard expert on this forum. Now towards the gpu. As of right now, the 780ti is the king of gpu's. Its better then the gtx titan which use to be the king. Its better then the r9 290x its better then all gpus. Plus with the asus direct cuII version its really quiet and performs amazing.

A big reason I'm holding on to the 4770k is the hyper threading and down the road my games/programs will utilize it and I don't feel its worth upgrading again . Benchmark score wise the 4770k weeks the 4670k until you hit higher end graphics. I will be video editing and rendering but only as a hobby. A big reason. I went gigabytes over the asus is the price isnt pretty much the same with a higher oc and lower temps. Based on this review it made me choose gigabyte over all the others except for maybe the msi lightning due to it not having voltage limitations from bios.http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/63057-gigabyte-geforce-gtx-780-ti-ghz-edition/ I am thinking about upgrading the mobo to a hero and there was another one I wanted to look into for $180. Gpu wise for me its what brand and I've narrowed it down to gigabyte ghz/oc or msi lightning but I need info on the lightning. Why your case over mine and why ram?

Thats a big reason im thinking giga, because it oc and cools better than the evga and asus based on benchmarks. I want to make sure though the cooling is legit. How much does the rpm and air flow really affect it? I've seen temps for peoples rig bounce all over with different cooling with different rpm some working better with lower etc

@andrei I don't like your ram based on speed and Iddon't need 16gig and why you would go with your cooling over mine @mo I would like to know why you went with your case and the benefits over mine. Also why the Ripjaw series over sniper? Same with you on the case to andrei
