Hey guys, I purchased a MSI GTX 760 2Gb yesterday and did the 3dmark benchmark with stock settings, and the score seemed a bit low compared to all the similar systems and benchmarks i checked.
I scored a 4861 on Firestrike 1.1 while most of the similar systems score a 5600 to 5800, also max temp was 99ºC. I was wondering if my card may be faulty.
This is my build:

Msi GTX N760 tf 2Gb
8 Gb Ram DDr3-1600
Corsair 750W PSU
Intel i5-3475S @ 2.9Ghz
WD Velociraptor 300Gb
Antec 900 case

Yes 99°C is indeed way to hot, especially for a custom fan graphics card,

does the fan work properly? you might want to try msi afterburner and manually increase fan speed.

even if that helps, just give it back and get a new one, there definitely is something wrong

it has a twin frozr cooler and both fans are spinning. I just used msi afterburner to increase the fan speed to a constant 100% and with kombustor it still reaches 99º
And I just tried Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag which came with the graphics card and it only reaches 20 FPS on maximum settings and 1920x1200 res, which doesn't seem right
