I have been reading some information about the next generation of Intel CPUs, and most of it say that it will use the socket 1150. So my question is, if my motherboard supports the 4th gen (1150 LGA), will it support the 5th gen?

Solution

IF the 5th gen supports 1150 then yes.

Maybe. because the socket isn't the only factor. the main problem would be if the 5th gen CPUs are going to use the same 9th gen intel chipset. If so they would be comparable. Intel also has to think about the motherboard manufacturers. if the last gen motherboards are compatable anyone that wanted to upgrade wouldn't have to buy a new board so less customers for companies like asus or gigabyte. When ivy bridge (LGA 1155) cpus came out though they worked in sandy bridge (LGA 1156) boards . But personally I hope they are comparable because I have a maximus 6 formula and I think it is one of the best looking board on the market.
