Cheap sticks of 8gb ram

Ok, so I'm doing a CGI course, which does kinda require a lot of ram, plus I occasionally play games, so ideally I need something not too slow.

My case has some side fans, but it doesn't seem to combat the speed as to which my ram heats up.
If any program heavily uses the ram, such as after effects or starforge, it can freeze within minutes, sometimes blue screens but mostly just stops responding with the audio still running. The cpu can go a lot hotter, and the gpu is totally fine, it's just the ram which is causing problems (and yeah, I've tried removing faulty sticks, and no, it's not overclocked, it's running at 1.65v which is recommended on the sticks)

The motherboard is triple channel and the sticks are literally like 0.5cm apart, so I thought instead of having all 6 slots filled and the ram being unable to cool fast enough, 3x8gb sticks would work well instead.

The only problem is an 8gb stick looks more expensive than 2x4gb ones. Is there a decent brand with a really discounted price I could use? I guess 1333mhz would be alright, just living as a student with a snowboarding trip booked so I currently don't have much money. Also I'm from the UK so ones that are sold here would be a bonus

Thanks

Edit: If I hold off for now, and wait half a year or something, will prices be much better? I can't find much cheaper than £200 for the 3 sticks

Unfortunately I don't think I'd have enough room, here's two photos, they're not great but you get the idea, I did my best to keep it neat but it's got a little cramped in there since I got the graphics card :p

Sorry to say it,but it looks like it is time for a new case with cable management behind the motherboard tray.
The problem with closed loop coolers is that it removes the fan from the cpu socket. . As it is now your ram has no airflow. Which a regular heatsink creates.
For half the price of new ram you could get a nice new case and a couple of fans.

Even with new ram it might still overheat behind your cables with no airflow. They are in a dead air space without the cpu fan moving air over them.
Your choice, but I would probably go for a case and a few fans.

Ah, I kinda need new ram sometime anyway, but I guess I'll keep my eye out for a better case, I'm just fussy with the design so I've been avoiding doing that haha. The case I have did have side fans, but they didn't fit with the old heatsink or newer watercooling which was incredibly annoying.

Still if there's 8gb sticks for £40-45 or less that'd be awesome :p
