This headset just never wants to connect. When ever I attempt to do so it manages connect for a second then it disconnects for a minute or two, and repeats. Eventually it seems to work but, the next time I need to use it I have to go through this again. Its a huge headache, and Its pretty new. Is their any solution to this.

Solution
all you can do is check the logitech site. you may also want to submit a ticket telling them your having an issue with 8.1 and driver compatibility.
the headset should connect as soon as you hit the power button. you should hear a beep as it connects. you may occasionally hear a second reconnect within a second if it failed the first time.
possible causes for disconnect.
your to far from the receiver. try to stay within 30 feet
conflicting wireless devices. its possible if you have other none logitech wireless devices connected to end up in a situation where your keyboard or mouse over rides and floods the bandwidth used by the g930's but this is pretty rare. solution turn off the other devices to test...
bad install. make sure you follow the onscreen instructions and plug it in when prompted. not doing so will cause constant dropped connection.
trying to run the dongle off a usb rather than the logitech usb hub/recharger. more often theres an issue if your running from the front case usb rather than the direct connected 1s on the motherboard. you would think there isnt gonna be an issue but i found that mine doesnt like being parted from the wired charging station and that must be plugged into the motherboard directly.

if all this fails then ask logitech for an rma number. there customer service was spot on for me when i returned mine after nearly 2 years. i just emailed them a ticket on there site and within 48 hours i had a link to the rma form that was post and packing payed.
you will however have to post it back to them in its entirety. which is the box, dongle, charging station instructions and disk (if yours came with 1).

I have tried disabling the drivers and it solved my connectivity problems, so that seems to be where the problem is coming from. But I loose alot of the headsets functionality without them. Is there a way to fix the drivers or an older version that will work. Im using Windows 8.1 Pro btw.

Hello,
Maybe a little late but i had this problem too.
Try running the Logitech Gaming Software as administrator.
If it boots automatically then go to "C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software" > right click on LCore.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Check the "Run as administrator" box. That fixed the problem for me.
