You should be fine. That's really an old warning. When those boards first came out, the chips weren't out yet, so they had to release a new BIOS to support the chips. That was well over a year ago and all new boards should support it no problem. the only small, small, small chance is some retailer you buy from has old, old, old stock and it gets sold to you but the chances of that old of stock are small and if your buying from Newegg, it will be new and have the latest or near latest BIOS.
Do you plan to overclock? That's not the best board for overclocking.
