prime95 question with overclocking

Ive never had a "failed" prime95 test...when it fails, does it immediately tell you that you have had a core failed, or do you see it on the report at the end?

Prime95 doesn't "fail" as such, it just crashes your computer. Run it for a couple of hours, if your computer doesn't crash then success.

Ok great, thanks...I always used it to check my temps after clock settings.

that's untrue, if your not stable it will usually tell you which core failed within an hour or two. If your completely unstable ie. not using nearly enough vcore and it does manage to load windows, it will hard lock.
