I need help on shaving this Gaming PC to under $1000!

Solution

The motherboard still works fine if your case doesn't support front panel USB3.0, the warning is there in case you absolutely need it or want it. Personally, I've never used it, so you would be fine without it.

You can always find a new case if you would like it.

The SSD should be removed. I'm a newbie at PC building but I know that ;p

I have seen Dvd/cd drives for a few dollars less, and maybe you could find less expensive RAM? Remember I am still new to this but next I would guess to save on the CPU, because 8 cores shouldn't be necessary.
