Howdy all-
So, first time doing a build your own PC, so pardon my noobery.
My computer will turn on (chassis fans all work, LED's light up, Optical Drive will open, processor heat sink fan is running), buuuuut nothing comes out of the video output nodes... My MoBo / Processor is using integrated graphics; no discrete graphics card.
I tried using a brand-new VGA cable, and the monitor recognized that it was connected, but that no video was coming out.
I hooked it up to my TV using the HDMI slot, again no connection...
Any ideas why this is happening? My thoughts from other forums is that it's most likely my MoBo itself... Can someone please save me that heartache?
Here are my specs for PSU, Processor & MoBo:
AMD 3.8 ghz quad core processor w/ integrated graphics (http://www.microcenter.com/product/414784/A8_6600K_Black_Edition_39GHz_Quad-Core_Socket_FM2_Boxed_Processor)
Asus MoBo (http://www.microcenter.com/product/423952/A88XM-A_Socket_FM2-FM2_A88X_mATX_AMD_Motherboard)
Power Supply (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=407827)
