For months, maybe around a year now, my laptop has been wanting to start a disk check at every startup. I almost always cancel it, and have found zero errors in how the laptop runs. I've scanned the drive with both the Windows and Seatools scanner, and no errors have been reported. Everything is healthy, so do I have anything to worry about? Is there any way to terminate the messages?

go into msconfig, click the startup tab and find a program that says diskchk or something similar to that and uncheck it. If that doesn't work or you dont see that, then search on google. I've never had this problem so im not sure that much myself.

i went onto msconfig and into the startup section, but there is no diskchk or even anything similar. Are there any other solutions? I have an Acer Aspire 5742 if that is relevant to anything.
