I'm wondering if anyone has ever installed a Rampage 4 Black Edition in a Corsair Obsidian 750D case. I have the case already and from what research I've done, it sounds like it should work, even if the case is only ATX on the spec sheet.

If I could just get confirmation from one or two people that have done this it would be a big help! Thanks!!

Solution
I have a Rampage IV Extreme in a Corsair 800D. It will fit just fine

The spec sheet on Corsair's website lists E-ATX (the RIVE/RIVBE are between ATX and E-ATX) so there will not be a problem.

Thanks for your help and quick reply! I was in Fry's the other morning and looked at the 650D and the RIVBE (they did not have the 750D in stock. Just ordered mine) It looked to me like it would work but I just wanted to make sure before I get the mobo. Thanks again!

you picked a great board and a great case. Have fun!

I will definitely be having fun! :D It will be my second build and I'm going to do it right! Pairing with a 4960X and probably dual (at least for now) GTX 780Ti's. Will probably give a custom LC loop a try as well. Can't wait to see it all come together!

If you want to get your money's worth out of the 3960x/4960x you absolutely must use a custom liquid cooling loop. Air cooling and AIO liquid cooling won't cut it beyond about 4Ghz. At 4.5Ghz my 3960x tops out at around 230 watts. I tried to cool my 3960x with a Corsair H100 initially but switched to a custom Swiftech loop within a few months.
