My cpu is an AMD apu, The a-3650 ~2.6GHz
My GPU is the AMD Radeon HD 7790 1GB edition.
I really dont know if im bottlenecking or not. I can only get around 60-70 fps when playing LoL, but others have the 7770 getting 130 WHILE recording. Im honestly confused at this point and feel like i should be getting more for what i paid for.

yeah its a cpu bottleneck. but what are you going to benefit by having over 60fps?
Your best bet is to try get a hold of an a8 3870k and overclock it. apart from that you will need a full platform upgrade to get more performance.

oh crud. I dont know what CPU's will work with my motherboard. the spec website says only certain ones are available for upgrade, http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAG... more insight?

well since its an hp you are limited. the 3850 is the best your going to do, you will see an improvement, but not the magical numbers you are looking for. Also make sure your pc is using the dedicated gpu you purchased, and not the one built into the cpu. and update to latest drivers from AMD's website.

well im also wondering if my Ram has anything to do with it too. Honestly i feel like just going all out would be easier than doing all the little things. /sigh anyway, even though the a8 3870k has the same socket type (FM1) it wouldnt work with my computer?

it would be a chance that it would work, the bios might not recognize it. but if your not going to be able to OC with that motherboard the K edition is pointless, it offers an unlocked multiplier for OC. if you want a cheap upgrade you know will work get the 3850. Your only alternative would be to upgrade motherboard and cpu to move to another socket.
