So basically my dad built this PC for Christmas. I received it and as soon as i launched state of decay it crashed and went to BSOD. Now the BSODs don't happen but the crash will happened on some games its getting on my nerves and i want it fixed please help. my GPU is a AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series. Note it only happens in some games, not while browsing or playing other games.

Solution
basically you have to update the graphics adapter software directly from amd
you might also go to control panel, device manager and find you AMD high definition sound and disable it if you are not using the graphics card for your sound source. (just disable any sound sources you don't have speakers for)
I use sound from my motherboard, not from my graphic card HDMI cable or DisplayPort cable. (my montior does not have speakers) And I figure I want the graphics card not to have the extra burden of supporting sound.

answer depends on build of windows that you are using and the actual bugcheck code.
in general, update the OS as much as you can. Service packs and updates. Reboot and update your graphics driver from the vendor. Disable unused sound sources in control panel device mangager
