Title says it all lol. I have a half x full tower with a crosshair v formula z a fx-9370 black cooled with a h110i Samsung 840 pro 128gb ssd and a 2tb seagate hybrid 4x4 g skill but showing that it really was my first build i got some that wasn't compatible with my mobo...live and learn so i will soon be replacing that

so i have a set up that i did my best to make easy to OC but being as im very new to building and overclocking the more i think about the the more i would like to put together a second build with a less expensive CPU and also i want to build a custom water cooling setup so two birds one stone get a case build the loop install the cheaper components play with over clocking until i get comfortable and then swap in the parts on my current build. so whats a good mobo for that and whats a good FM3+ CPU ( same socket so the custom loop will work on both)

also any good threads for noob OCers or any advice im all ears, im a mechanic that needs a non automotive hobby and i think this is it

I dont really have one... I guess the real question is what cpu because im going with another crosshair v formula z because im building the loop in that case to include a chipset water block

Ram im also a bit in the air about i dont need to buy high end stuff (ram and cpu) really i just want something i can OC fairly easily

Well you already are getting a nice motheboard so might as well get the 8350. If you are gonna be gaming, 8gb is perfect and if you are gonna be video editing,, 3d animation, rendering, etc. you should get 16gb. i always prefer 2 modules of ram sticks and 1600mhz speed.
