Hey guys :)

Decided to get back to desktop gaming after a few years of laptop/console gaming. I went for a self built rig(again) due to the insanely overpriced gaming rigs we have here in Norway. The main use will be gaming and some video editing.

So far my setup looks like this:
Case - CM Storm Trooper, Big tower
PSU - Corsair AX860, 80 plus, platinum
Mobo - Asus Z87 Pro, ATX, Socket - 1150
CPU - Intel 4770k, Socket - 1150, 3.5 GHz
GPU - ASUS gtx 780 ti DirectCU II OC
RAM - Corsair Vengeance PRO 1866 MHz, CL9, 2x8GB
SSD - Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 240GB
HDD - WD® Desktop Black 2TB
CPU cooler - Corsair h100i

So to the stuff I'm not 100% sure about, and I was hoping you could help me with:
- I'm already aware that the h100i fans make a lot of noise, so I'm planning to swap them out for noctua NF-F12 120mm fans. What I'm not sure about is whether to use the h100i as intake vs exhaust, push vs pull or both, 2 fans vs 4 fans.
- I will be having 2 fans in the front and 1 fan at the bottom for intake. Should I be using both the rear fan and the top fan for exhaust?
- I don't really want to use corsair link, are there any options to avoid corsair link?
- I'm planning to use the ASUS 4 way optimization to do the OC and fan controls for me. The price won't be a problem, but I want to keep socket 1150, any suggestions instead of the Z87 PRO?
- Corsair Vengeance PRO VS Kingston HyperX Beast. Same MHz, same latency. Which one should I go for?

I will be using windows 8, some random DVD writer, and Noctua NT-H1 TIM. Also planning to get BenQ XL2420TE next month :)

So what do you guys think? Any part I should swap out?
Please no fanboys. Just looking for a good solution to my setup :)

Thanks in advance :) Norwegian tech forums have no clue, so trying my luck here :p

Solution
Two fans on an H100i should be PLENTY. Having four (4) only shaves of about 2C, maybe 3C not worth the noise IMHO. Build sound rock solid, don't see a reason to change a thing...

Umm dude, i don't think there's any need to change something. Top and back exhausts would work fine. Ideally, front and back fans should be your priority, but hey the better the ventilation, the better the life span of those components.
