What is the difference between Windows 8.1 OEM ($100 on Newegg) and Windows 8.1 Retail Full Version ($120 on Newegg)? Is it that the OEM is tied to one motherboard whereas the Retail is available to an unlimited number?

Basically, OEM lets you install it once, where it ties with your motherboard. Retail lets you install multiple times no questions asked! That is why retail costs more than OEM, hope that helps and good luck! ^^

Thanks for the quick reply. Just to clarify, you use the same disc to install on multiple computers right?
