What do you think of the AsRock Extreme4 Z87, is it as reliable as many think? Is it safe to RAID 0 two 500GB, both HDDs that are from different manufacturers? Furthermore, both are SATA Revision 2, so CAN I RAID0 SATA Revision 2 drives? Or is it safer to keep it as 1 OS drive, and use the other as Miscellaneous storage? And System Criticism so if I want to change the hardware, I could. (NO SDD)(Maybe for caching)

yes its safe, depending on how important ur info is, you can decide between raid0 and non raid. raid0 has twice the failure rate, since there are 2 drives.

I use a raid drive for my os and a single drive for my data. However, I never keep any important data on my raid drive, and I back up my data drive regularly.
