Would it be better to get the AMD FX-6300 with GTX 760 or the Intel i5-3470 with GTX 660.
Both builds are going to cost the same price, it is just a matter of which one would perform better with gaming.

id get the 760 but still retain the motherboard for intel. possibly downgrade to an i3 or lower for the meantime and upgrade to an i5 3570 when funds permit. perhaps use the i3 for a year or so of gaming. its certainly capable. with this move, you have an upgrade path for your motherboard and a capable proc for gaming. hell even pentium sandy/ivy bridges are decent.

Depends on what you want. If your main purpose is gaming then for sure go with the GTX 760 and FX-6300. In fact, I have the 6350 (higher clocked 6300) and a GTX 770 and have no issues at all really. You always want the GPU to be really strong in a gaming PC and the most costly part, and a 660 won't really cut it for modern 1080P gaming.

get the 2gb version if your not gonna game over the resolution of 1920x1080p if you plan on using a higher resolution then get the 4gb VRAM version as higher resolutions require more VRAM or if you gonna use more than one monitor.
