MOBO : Asus Maximus VI Hero
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231477

Memory Model: F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM

I have checked the GSkill site as well as the asus site, for compatibility. my problem is that on the gskill site the memory says it is compatible:

http://www.gskill.com/en/configurator?manu=29&chip=1307&model=1407

Then, on the Asus site it isn't listed in their compatibility chart(1st link leads to the other 2):

http://support.asus.com/QVL.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=45&m=MAXIMUS+VI+HERO&os=8&hashedid=9JB5jBpArfvcpcNi

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/MAXIMUS-VI-HERO/M6H_DRAM_QVL.pdf

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/MAXIMUS-VI-HERO/M6H_DRAM_QVL_0703.pdf

Am I safe or should I be switching the memory.

I just purchased it this morning, had a second thought to check the asus mobo compatibility on their site instead of just relying on gskills, now im worried I will have to order more ram after it arrives.

I stick with 1.5 sticks up through 1866, don't really fool with the low voltage, most of them are basically for the manufacturers experiments as they get ready for DDR4 which run at lower voltages, many will say it's better for OCing, but not really that I've seen and I have experimented with a number of the sets
