Up unitl today, I've just been using the onboard graphics chip. But I really need a little more power.

I want to put in a PCI 3 video card for better graphics - but the existing MB is only PCI Gen 1.

What M-ATX motherboard should I consider upgrading/swapping to in order to minimize my costs (keep existing 775 cpu & ram, etc).

Thanks for all genuine help!

PCIe 3.0 is backwards compatible to old gen (PCI Express Bus SPEC V1.0 compliant).
So you dont have to change your mobo in order to use a new gen PCIe 3.0 graphics card.

GTX650/ti or 7770 can give you good performance at 1920 x 1200 in most games.
GTX660 or 7850 will give you excellent performance at 1920 x 1200 in most games.

Yea. I was hoping for a newer MB for PCI 3.0 support but I see that is not possible. Is a MSI GT 640 video card decent? I don't need the highest end video, only do a little gaming. Thank you.
