I have a cx 430 that is running a 7770 just fine right now with a 4 pin connector. my psu has only one 6 pin connector. i just ordered a 7870 powercolor ghz 2gb from newegg. then i realized that i dont have enough pins on my psu. i dont have the money to buy a new psu right now but will using a molex y splitter for another 6 pin pcie work for somewhat hardcore gaming for about a month or 2 until i get another psu? thanks! oh and btw i haven't overclocked a thing and i never will!

Solution
Yeah thats fine, some people try to use two 4 pin to six pin adapters to get an 8pin. THAT is outrageous, but molex to 6 pin is fine.
