I have a modem (Fiber optic) having 192.168.1.1 and a ASUS RT-N16 router having 192.168.2.1 - both are connected and I can see the WAN light on in the router.
I flashed with DDWRT firmware as per procedure in the DDWRT website.. no issues. Once done, I tried to connect to DDWRT wireless - connected but no internet.

Kindly help what needs to be done to get internet access in DDWRT.

why does your wireless IP start with 202? that would mean it is a public IP.

I would expect it to start with 192 if you are wirelessly connected to the router.

Maybe you can try Tomoato firmware? In order to install tomato, you must flash DDwrt (which you have already done). I use tomato on the same router (two of them actually) and it is fantastic.

What does the laptop do when you disable its wireless and plug in directly with a cable?
