Hello all. A few months ago i built myself a gaming rig using a Asus R9 280x (which has HDMI, DVI-I and DVI-D, Displayport). Currently i am using my 22" 1080p TV via HDMI and use it mainly for gaming. I also have a old 1280x1024 monitor hooked up via VGA to my motherboard and use it mainly for browsing the web and multitasking and whatnot.

So back to the point at hand i have been looking at getting this monitor: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXOTJAA/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Things that stick out to me on this monitor is the 1ms response time and the built in speakers (currently im using some cheapo speakers i was able to get for free but would rather have built in speakers to have less clutter on my desk. Im not a audiophile by any means.)

For 130$ is this monitor a good deal?

looking at the Asus website it appears the montior comes with a HDMI to DVI-D which should allow me to continue to use my TV through the HDMI on my 280x and this monitor through the DVI-D on my 280x. But preferablly i would like to still continue to use my old 1280x1024 montior aswell but i would like it to be plugged into my 280x. What would be the best way to go upon this? VGA to DVI-I or VGA to Displayport?

Thanks for all your help
